Capabilities
The connector syncs a single Buddy workspace, its members, and its groups. It
maps workspace membership and group membership as access grants. For each group
member it records whether they are a member or a manager of the group, and it
surfaces a member’s workspace-level admin and owner flags as member attributes.
Gather Buddy credentials

Sign in to Buddy and open your profile Settings.

Go to Personal access tokens and create a new token with the scopes
needed to read the workspace and its members (at minimum the workspace and
member-read scopes).

Copy the generated token.

Note your workspace domain — the short identifier in your workspace URL
https://app.buddy.works/<domain>/..., not the display name.Configure the Buddy connector

Follow these instructions to use a built-in, no-code connector hosted by C1.Done. Your Buddy connector is now pulling access data into C1.

In C1, navigate to Integrations > Connectors and click Add connector.

Search for Buddy and click Add.

Choose how to set up the new Buddy connector.

Set the owner for this connector.

Click Next.

Find the Settings area of the page and click Edit.

Enter the Buddy credentials:
- Buddy Base URL: The API host for your account. Enter
https://api.buddy.worksfor the US cloud,https://api.eu.buddy.worksfor the EU region, or your self-hosted instance origin with the/apisuffix (for examplehttps://buddy.example.com/api). - Buddy API Token: Your personal access token.
- Buddy Workspace Domain: The short workspace domain to sync.

Click Save.

The connector’s label changes to Syncing, followed by Connected. You can view the logs to ensure that information is syncing.
